The other night we had an awesome moon - I just couldnt catch it in the pic how it looked in natural.

Bird top is done

Finally the top of the bird-quilt is done. It suppose to be a present for my Dads 70th Birthday last December but he died in August. After a long break I start working on it again at the end of January. I´m sure he wouldve loved this quilt.

I just ordered the back fabric and a matching multicolor thread to finish the quilt.

And I could kick my cats ass - while I was taking the pic Bizkit was entering the top, nothing new he is always laying on tops, fabrics etc. BUT this time - I couldnt even react this fast - he was peeing on my top. I screamed as loud as I could and he starts running and me after him to get is furry butt spanked. I took the top to wash the pee out and the brown fabric around the birds starts bleeding while drying even if all the fabrics were prewashed - THANKS Bizkit!!!

Right now he is sitting on my lap - like nothing happened!!!!

The gardening is going on also - salad and kohlrabi are growing unless the freaking snails find a way to the plants - well one saladplant was a victim of the snails.

Some time for blogging again

Since saturday I´m busy with working outside. There is alot of stuff to do at the yard + I decided to fix the garage-roof/balcony. Water is running inside the garage and this needed to be fixed. The tiles were loose and the balustrade totally rusty. The balustrade got cut off and the tiles were removed. Tuesday we placed the form boards around the balcony so the loose and broken off concrete can be replaced. Tarboard on - oh I tell you - dont get to close to the gas burner when you wear safty-shoes with metal caps - hot hot hot............ Yesterday we finished the floor fill - so far so good - the underside needs to be plastered (? is it called like this) and when ever I have time I will go and look for some new balustrade and tiles for the balcony.

Der 2te Umschlag vom Geburtstags-Stoff-Wichteln ist da

Es kam mittlerweile der zweite Umschlag von der Geburtags-Stoff-Wichtel-Gruppe an und ich muss noch VIER Wochen warten bis ich die Umschläge öffnen darf. Aber wie schon ein paar Posts vorher erwähnt passt ja meine Mama auf die Umschläge auf.
