Ice Hockey Season Is Over :-(

I´m kinda sad about it that I cant watch any more Ice Hockey until August - this season is over :-(   Last night our IceTigers lost the decision-making game (is it said right??).  They kinda slept in the first 3rd, well the score says all 4:1 for the Scorpions and somehow woke up with the second 3rd and gave everything until the end of the third 3rd- 4:3 final score for the Scorpions.

But who cares - Boys we are all very proud of you - you guys played an amazing season - especially after all this trouble what was going on last year before the season has started. I´m looking forward to see you, well not all but most of you back on the ice in August. Many thanks to Thomas Sabo - he made this whole season possible!

After Easter

no pictures but I hope you all at a great Happy Easter and some time with your loved ones. The last 4 days were actually really busy - I worked alot outside in the garden, 2 balcony balustrade got mostly mounted, tried to get 2 tree stumps out..... yep done after.... I dont no how long it took me, but I can tell you that my whole body was sore by the end of the day. Please remind me not to plant anything which is ending up treelike with a stump and thick, long roots - just in case I would like to have it out after a few years.

I was at two icehockey games with my good friends Hans + Ute  (thanks so much for driving to Nürnberg, standing in line and buying cards on sunday morning) - all I can say is WOW - the atmosphare at the arena was amazing - especially yesterday. I just had such a great day with the horses, icehockey + friends and later in the evening at the "Osterfeuer". I want more of those, for me "perfect days".

Oh yeah not to forget to mention - we had the first BBQ for this year on Sunday..... it was soooo yummiehhh!!!

I also started a simple table runner for my kitchen table - hopefully I will get done with the top within the next few days.

And today is Monday - I had a 4 day weekend and I´m sooo tired!!!!

Fishy-Quilt Is Ready To Travel To His New Owner

Yeahhh I finally finished the fishy-quilt tonight. I thought I wouldnt make it, because I had to wait for a while to pick up my car at the garage (yep, needed some fixing again!!!!). Then I worked at the yard  - digged out a concrete column and old rose bushes, went to the barn and took care of Candy Man and Eboli. I was on my couch around 10 pm and sewed my name tag on the quilt. Done!!! Tomorrow I will put it in the dryer for a bit so all the threads and fuzzy stuff would come off........ and Bizkits hair. Somehow he was in love with this quilt and always tried to sleep on it.

Hopefully little Jonathan, his parents and his Grandmother will like it

Spring Has Arrived

The last few days were already nice, warm, sunny...... just beautiful......... couldnt wait for the weekend! I woke up saturday morning and I cought the last sunbeams and wooop the sky was cloudy. Oh noooo, it looked like its going to rain soon but I was lucky and there was no rain all day long and temperatures in the mid 60s yeahhhhhh. I was outside starting with yard work...... cutting back trees from 12.30 pm - 18.30 pm. I´m done - I cant even tell which bone in my body doesnt hurt right now!!!

March Friday Night Sew In

Friday was sew-in night hosted by Heidi and Bobby! So I hurried up with the horses was thinking about canceling my exercise at the crosstrainer...............well I felt bad about it so I took my time for my little 6/7 day workout. Finally 8.30 pm I was sitting on my couch wearing comfy clothes and a cup of hot chocolate and of course my fishy quilt I was going to work on

I started to hand quilt the outer boarder of my fishy quilt

I got 2 1/4 sides done - wow alot more than I have thought.

Green Night At The Pub

I spent my St. Patricks Day-evening at the Pub. It´s always fun to be there with friends - getting green drinks, green hats and shirts, listening to some irish music......and being in a good mood
