Flowers And No Insects
Yesterday I was strolling through the garden with my new camera - I wanted to see how the pics of insects would turn out but I couldnt find any because of the rainy and cold weather
Working On Bizkits Quilt
Right now - I´m working on Bizkits flannel quilt again - I´m sure this one gonna be a ugly one, because I use all my flannel scraps which are left from all the baby quilts I made so far and dont care about colors or prints. Bizkit doesn´t care about being ugly as long as its flannel and comfy....
I´ve lots of small flannel scraps, so the squares turned out to be inchies - what the heck was I thinking to make a quilt out of inchies - lol
Playing Around With My New Toy
I havent read the manual yet - it scares me it´s a book but I need too so I learn how to handle the camera with all the programms and settings. So for I was just playing around
its a direction sign - I already love my camera - lol
that´s the part of a top made from blocks of a swap - sitting there and waiting for being quilted
Bizkit on my lap
and what I look like after he jumped of my lap - I brush him twice a day, every normal would be already hairless

My New Toy!
Since months I kept thinking about getting myself a reflex camera. One side says noooo you dont need one - your little panasonic is good enough..... well the panasonic is making good pictures - I can´t complain. But the other side wants one really bad........and after months spending with yes and no I finally bought one
So far I was only playing around with it - but I figured out quite fast that I defently need the 55 - 200 mm lense too! When I see a good offer I will get it.
My I proudly present my new...
Nikon D5000 with 18 - 105 mm lense

So here it is! I did alot of detail quilting but sadly you cant really see it on the front
Bizkit - he always needs his paws on - lol
a close up of my free motion quiliting..... its accaptable for the first time but far away from good. I defently need to practise way more.
