I Guess Winter Has Arrived!

Thats what I saw when I looked out the window this morning........

.....snow

and by now..... not just the heater in my sewing room doesnt work......... the heater in my appartement quit the job also :( .........oh happy freezing!    

FSNI October 2012 - Results

Here are my results of FNSI - at first I had to get my electrical heater cuz my regular heater didnt work in my sewing room and it was freezing cold there. After a few minutes it was nice and warm and I was able to start FNSI

 

 

Here is the fabric choice for the backing of top Isabella

cutting, sewing and some irioning......

 

voilà and the backing is done......

and now the batting......

 

......yep I piece some battings from leftovers

and done.......

Top Isabella

Top Isabella is done....... but I´m not sure....... it turned out very flowerish......... I like it on one side but on the other its to...... to flowerish........ to much??? The brown binding I´ve planned would calm this down....... but hmmmmmmm

Ok.... at least here is something I like, the binding for this quilt all done and rolled up on my favorite old wooden spool.
