Needle-Turn-Appliqué

I still work on Bizkits flannel scrap quilt and I did some appliqué on it. First the words "crazy cats" they way I usually do it - zig-zag stitches and then a paw print with needle turn method. Maybe flannel is not the best choice of fabric to use this method - but still, I guess I dont like it very much.

I cant complain - for the first time I think it looks quite good - but still, its not my thing and a compliment to anyone who is using this method
